Dawu Wooden Attic was called as Guanyin Attic in the past time. It was built in the 4th year of Jingtai, Ming Dynasty. The Dawu Wooden Attic is 3-floor and tetragon and is 18.5 meters high. There are 3 wide wooden rooms in this building and the second floor is flat. The windows of this attic are opened to four directions, to east, to south, to west and to north. 17 Buddhist statues are worshipped in Dawu Wooden Attic. This attic is Chinese style, elegant, graceful, and well kept. Please do visit Dawu Wooden Attic when you travel around in Shanxi Province, or you will regret deeply.
