Poyang Lake is China’s largest fresh water lake. In the lake, there are a lot of precious fishes from Yangtze River. There are also many rare birds inhabiting here every year, making the lake more attractive.
At late October in every year, thousands and thousands of birds migrate over here to live through the winter at the conservation area. At April of next year, they gradually migrate away. So far, there are more than 200 kinds of birds living through the winter here. Especially, the total number of wintering white cranes is near upon 3,000, accounting for more than 95% of the total of white crane in the world.
