Located in the south of the Lingshui Li Autonomous County, the Monkey Island is more than 10 kilometers away from the county town. Surrounded by the hills on one side and waters on the other three sides, it has a length of 1.5 kilometers, a width of 1 kilometer and a total area of over 15,000 acres. There are twelve mountain, odd rocks and bizarre stones distributed widely, as well as caverns of all sizes. Broad leaved forest and bush forest grow spectacularly at the foot of the mountain. The air is filled with fragrance of flowers and fruits all the year round. Furthermore, with the beautiful scenery and mild climate, it is a paradise for macaques to live and breed, being the only natural reserve for macaques in China.

With the help of guides in the tourist area, you can learn to communicate with the macaques, as well as play with them. It is really amusing to play with macaques, which always makes tourists reluctant to leave.
