Intro to this Attraction
It covers an area of 8,000 hectare. Here you will be impressed by high peaks, deep abyss, majesty hills, lush forests, abundant animals and plants, various water falls and brooks and the tranquil natural environment. It combines the features of being majesty, unique, beautiful and tranquil. And it also possesses features of both a mountain-river park and suburban park.
The mountains in the park are so majesty that there are 25 peaks over 1,000 kilometers above sea level. Tiantang Top (heaven’s top, the highest peek there, is 1,844 kilometers above sea level and is also the highest peak in the eastern area of Guangxi Province. There are various waterfalls, say Wayaochong Dashing Horse Waterfalls, Fairy Lady Waterfalls, Arhat Waterfalls, Milky Way from Heaven Waterfalls, 2.5 Millimeters Waterfalls, Mother and Baby Waterfalls and Mandarin Duck Waterfalls, etc. All of them have different characteristics and take on a magnificent scene. The weather in the park is amiable, with an average temperature of the year 18.2?. It is cool in summer and warm in winter that it is the ideal place for recuperation.
Previously, the forest park was a forestry center. It was approved by the autonomous region as Provincial Forest Park in 1992. It was approved by the former forestry department as National Forest Park in 1996. It was also awarded the title Scientific and Technologic Educational Base for the Young in 1998, Provincial Model Tourist Unit in 2000 and Provincial Model Unit for Protecting Environment, etc.
