Today you can still raft, canoe and kayak, hike or bike wilderness trails around the capital city or step back in time aboard the S.S. Klondike. Wander up from the riverfront to MacBride Museum for gold panning and beadwork or face mammoths and saber toothed-tigers at the Yukon Beringia Interpretive Centre. Flightsee or go horseback riding for a few hours, then use Whitehorse as your base to the North. Once you meet the mushers, artists, entrepreneurs and local characters, you’ll have your own stories to tell.
