The White Dagoba Temple, also called Miaoying Temple, is located in the west section of Beijing, firstly built in Yuan Dynasty. The white Dagoba in the temple is the existing dagoba with longest history and largest scale and it became one of first eighteen places of historic value under national protection in 1961.

The White Dagoba Temple mainly consists of the Temple Gate, the Bell and Drum Tower, the Hall of Heavenly King, Hall of the Buddhas of Three Age, the Hall of Severn Buddha and the Dagoba Courtyard.

The White Dagoba is situated in the back of the temple. It was built in the year 1275 of Yuan Dynasty by a Nepalese artist. It is a 13-storey, 50.9-meter-high white dagoba with a base more than 30 meters in circumference. The upper part of the structure is like the tip of an auger with 13 rings, topped by a round, engraved copper plate. There is a small bronze pagoda placed on the middle of the copper plate and iron bells hung on its edge. It is the most important symbol of Yuan Dynasty and the witness of the Sino-Nepal friendship.
