Beijing Jundushan Ski Resort is located in the famous Xiaotangshan Hot Spring Scenic Area in Changping District, which is 30 kilometers away from Beijing-the closest ski resort to Beijing.
Jundushan Ski Resort covers an area of 150,000 square meters. All trails were built in mountains with a total length of over 4,000 meters. Two medium runs total 1,000 meters long, with over 20 sharp turns. The trail for skilled skiers extends 1,200 meters long with the biggest drop of 247 meters and some part of it sports 40 degree.
The ski resort is equipped with 2 ropeways which can carry 3500 persons and 3100 sets of imported skiing equipment, making it can host 6000 to 10,000 skiers everyday. The newly introduced ultra-high-power professional lighting system makes night skiing impossible.
