Merah North Pronounced – Mer – ar North Merah North is located 73 kms from Narrabri which is a 45 minute drive. It is on the Kamilaroi Highway towards Burren Junction/Lightning Ridge and approximately 31kms from Wee Waa. An Agricultural district that mainly grows Cotton & Wheat, Cattle and Sheep Located at Merah North a Wheat Silo & Namoi Cotton has a Cotton Gin. It is no longer classed as a village but Merah North is often refered to the properties around the area.
