Westmar is a very social community along the Moonie Highway, whose name derived from WESTern and MARanoa. The community’s roadhouse offers everything from fuel and groceries to an evening meal and a cool beer. The community holds gymkhanas, sports days and movie nights. Southwood National Park lies further east along the Moonie Highway.
