In Tang Dynasty, Yuan Jie, the governor of Dao Prefecture, passed Huanyang Cliff and wrote on essay on Yanghua Cliff. The official of the county carved the essay on the stone. The essay says that, “I have been traveled around mountains and forests for dozens of years. Huayang Cliff is unique and should be appreciated.” After Tang Dynasty, more and more people came to visit the cliff.
