Wugui Peaks is an old scenic spot. There are majestic peaks, marvelous flowers,new looks of construction, and moving fairy tales, but the history of Anti-Japanese War is the most exciting one.
Wugui Mountain is situated at the Pearl River Estuary and covers a large area, including seven districts and nine mountains in it. The old scenery of “ nan tai qiu men ” was situated here. As for the main peak of Wugui Mountain, which stands by the sea, is as high as 531 meters.
Wugui Mountain is aboundent in evergreen pendent- bells, azaleas, orchids and so on. Evergreen pendent-bells and orchids from Wugui Mountain are usually found on the anniversary flower exhibition in spring. Wugui Mountain is covered by the forests of planted pines, eucalyptuses, yews and acacias. These forests also have the function of containing water, so, visitors would find that the air is fresh and humid in Wugui Mountain area.
