Nanchong Kui Pavilion was built by an officer of Nanchong in the ruling period of Emperor Jiaqing of Qing Dynasty. The pavilion is a three-stories building made of brick, stone and wood. Along either side of the doorway of the first story, there is a pair of couplets written in excellent Chinese ancient handwriting praising the beautiful scenery of the Nanchong. In the chamber of the second story, there is a joss that worshipped by the people. The third story, with the height of 8 meters, is served as the bell tower. The bell had been knocked to tell the time for three times a day. In each corner of each story, there are little bells singing in the breeze.
