According to records, Emperor Shun died here, where keeps the tomb of Emperor Shun and the sacrifice steles in history. Of Jiuyi Mountain, there are 60-odd hills with an altitude over 1000 meters, 31 hills with an altitude over 1500 meters. The peak Bojiwo has an altitude of 1959.2 meters, while the lowest place has an altitude of 326.5 meters. The upright height is 1632.7 meters.
