E’ mei Mountain is one of China’s four famous Buddha Mountains and is famous for its natural beauty and Buddhism culture. Situated 2500 meters above sea leve, E’ mei Mountain has an annual average temperature of 5 degree centigrade because of the favorable situation. The snowing period starts from the beginning of October to the end of March next year, during which the snow can accumulate to more than one meter. Therefore, it is an excellent place for skiing. The fields are divided into various parts, such as training area, skiing area, playing snow area, snow sculpture area. All the equipment of skating, skiing clothes and shoes are imported from Austria. The main facilities are as follows;
Alpine skiing run: 2000 meters long, 30 meters wide, 4000 square meters; average slope: 9 degrees; capacity: 300 persons. Coach guidance is available.
Elementary skiing run: 2000 square meters; capacity: 100 persons. Coach guidance is available.
Flying saucer area: 120 meters long, 8 meters wide; average incline: 8 degrees. It is particularly suitable for children.
Playing snowball & snow sculpture area: 2000 square meters with a lenght of 120 meters.
