The Century Square faces Huaibei Municipal Government in the north and Huaibei Municipal Museum in the south. It opens to the public all day long. The square covers an area of 50 thousand kilometers, 24 thousand kilometers of which are covered by green tress or grasses. Water makes up 4,500 kilometers of the area. There are more than 1,000 huge arbors, 15,000 bushes, 208 lighting equipments, 85 court lights, 55 flood lights, 136 lawn lights, 12 electronic flower poles and 14 electronic flowerpots.
Century Square has the largest area, the most investment, the widest water surface and the most advanced facilitates among all the squares in Huaibei. The music fountain in the square has very unique appearance. In summer evening, it spout out waters in different shapes. The highest waterspout reaches as high as 35 meters. Since its opening to public, Century Square has become a good place for the citizens in summer. It entertain more than 5,000 people every day.
