Fans of Curacao label it the Caribbean Dutch treat that can’t be beat. Think near perfect, relatively arid weather with capital city Willemstad basking in the sun as a tropical Amsterdam. Daytime temperatures range from the 70s to the low 80s with cool tradewinds at night. Located just 35 miles north of Venezuela, Curacao is the largest and most populous of the Dutch Antilles. This multi-ethnic island is nominally part of the Netherlands and the Queen of that European nation is Head of State.
