Stuarts Point

Stuarts Point was the port for vessels entering the Macleay from the river’s old entrance. This silted over when a new entrance was forged by flood in 1893. Now the riverside hamlet sits by calm waters, which are breeding grounds for fish and crabs. This peaceful river arm is also a playground for water sports enthusiasts.
