Pirates of the Caribbean — Battle for Buccaneer Gold – Inhabit a world where blade meets blade, booming with swashbuckling action. Steer your pirate’s ship, fire cannons at marauding buccaneers and race for the gold! (Guests must meet a minimum of 35″ to ride)

Virtual Jungle Cruise – Plunge down a prehistoric river on a raft in the Dinosaur Age. Try desperately to avoid dangerous obstacles in the running rapids. With a touch of 4-D, you may even get splashed!

CyberSpace Mountain – Design your own roller coaster on a computer, with special assistance from Bill Nye the Science Guy. Make it as scary as you want. When you’re done, jump in a simulator and ride your creation in full 360° motion& if you dare! (Guests must meet a minimum of 51″ to ride)

Buzz Lightyear’s Astroblasters – Pilot your own futuristic bumper car “Astroblaster”. The only problem is you’re in a battle and always under attack! So you must fight back by scooping up “asteroids”, loading them into your blaster and firing away at the other cars. It’s an asteroid-blasting game unlike any other! (Guests must meet a minimum of 51″ to ride)

Animation Academy – Be a Disney animator! An instructor takes you through the process of drawing a Disney character step by step. You’ll delight yourself when you see what you are capable of creating!

Mighty Ducks Pinball Slam – Hip check your friends in a life sized Mighty Ducks pinball game. (Guests under 48″ tall should see a Navigator for assistance.)

And you’d know those silhouettes anywhere — it’s Mary Poppins, Aladdin, Dumbo and other characters from some of Disney’s most famous films! They caper across the surface of the internally illuminated balloon that rises above you in a special design just for Disney Parks and Resorts.

This whimsical balloon — the Aéro30 — was built by Aérophile S.A., a company with headquarters in Paris, France. It’s the world’s largest tethered gas balloon! The balloon itself is attached to a gondola that is 19 feet in diameter and holds up to 30 Guests at a time. Guests board from a specially designed platform and then, once in the air, revel in a spectacular view of vistas up to 10 miles away!

Guest Policies

Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
Gondola is wheelchair accessible with assistance. Guests must transfer from an Electric Convenience Vehicle (ECV).
Weather conditions determine the number of Guests who may ride in a flight.
All flights and times may abruptly change due to inclement weather.
The ticket is valid only for the date of purchase.
All refunds for unused tickets must be refunded on date of purchase.

Pre-season is when the excitement builds for fans. Watch Major League Baseball’s Atlanta Braves during their spring training—this team has made Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex their spring training home since 1998.

Check out the National Football League’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers, too! In 2002, they kicked off their training camp schedule at Disney’s Wide World of Sports Complex—and have been coming back each year since.

Entertainment at Disney’s Boardwalk ranges from a dance hall to piano bar to sports-themed club Specialty Cruises. There is no admission to Disney’s BoardWalk area—where live evening entertainment can usually be found— but some venues may have a cover charge.

Dining

Dining at Disney’s Boardwalk covers a wide spectrum: bakeries, a sports bar, an upscale restaurant. Disney’s BoardWalk also has coffee carts, funnel cake kiosks and hot dog stands. Dinner ranges from $15 to $60 per person; breakfast, lunch and snacks can be from $15 and less per person. Ranges based on average Guest check, not including alcohol, tax and tip.

Pleasure Island

As of September 28, 2008, all the nightclubs on Pleasure Island—8 Trax, The Adventurer’s Club, Mannequins Dance Palace, BET Sound-Stage Club, Motion and The Comedy Warehouse—were closed. You’ll be able to enjoy a brand new mix of shopping and dining experiences at Pleasure Island as it is transformed through 2010. Raglan Road, Fuego by Sosa Cigars, Curl by Sammy Duval, Orlando Harley-Davidson, and outdoor food and beverage locations remain open during the transition.
